Rocket Mortgage Launches Dreammate Stories to Inspire Homeownership Dreams

Rocket Mortgage, the official mortgage partner of the 2024 NFL Draft, has unveiled a series of Dreammate stories aimed at celebrating the pursuit of homeownership and the power of supportive networks. Launched in conjunction with the NFL Draft, the campaign and subsequent series seek to inspire individuals relentlessly chasing their dreams, whether it be owning a home, starting a business, or pursuing a career in professional sports.

The Dreammate movement acknowledges the significance of mentors, confidants, and motivators in helping individuals achieve their aspirations. Recognizing the pivotal role of support systems in the journey toward success, Rocket Mortgage aims to foster hope and inspiration through its multi-media campaign.

The campaign features celebrity Dreammate teams comprised of athletes and influential personalities who share their stories of realizing their dreams. Among these notable figures are NFL Pro Bowl Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, Detroit Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson and his family, and sports broadcasters Joy Taylor and Taylor Rooks.

Tagovailoa, whose journey to success has been fueled by the unwavering support of his brother Taulia, expressed gratitude for the encouragement he received throughout his career. "My wildest dreams have come true thanks to the unwavering support and inspiration of my biggest supporter and ‘Dreammate’ – my little brother Taulia," said Tagovailoa.

As part of the initiative, Rocket Mortgage has partnered with Habitat for Humanity to support deserving Americans in their quest for homeownership. For every use of the hashtag #RocketDreammate on TikTok or Instagram leading up to the conclusion of the 2024 NFL Draft, Rocket Mortgage will make a $10 contribution to Habitat for Humanity, up to $250,000. This collaboration reflects Rocket Mortgage's commitment to making homeownership accessible to more families across the nation.

Casey Hurbis, Senior Vice President of Brand Experiences and Strategic Partnerships for Rocket Mortgage, emphasized the company's dedication to creating hope, inspiration, and generational impact through the campaign. "Homeownership is more than just a milestone, it’s a lifelong journey, and we are proud to be a true partner to help everyone home," said Hurbis.

As the 2024 NFL Draft unfolds in Rocket Mortgage's hometown of Detroit, the company has incorporated interactive elements into the NFL Draft Experience to engage visitors. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with art installations, view exclusive sports memorabilia, and participate in social-centric activations celebrating the Dreammate movement.
