Jukin Media Debuts Self-Service Offering to License User-Generated Content
Today, Jukin Media announced a first-of-its-kind self-service offering for creators and publishers to easily license Jukin’s full library of over 65,000 engaging user-generated videos for as little as $49. The offering is now live and widely available at http://www.jukinmedia.com/licensing.
In conjunction with the launch, Jukin is announcing partnerships with top creator networks BroadbandTV (BBTV), an enabling platform for content owners that is advancing the world through the distribution, management, and monetization of content, and Fullscreen to provide their rosters of influencers and YouTubers exclusive discounts to Jukin’s library, dedicated customer support, and early access to new features.
“We first launched the self-service offering in beta last year and have seen tremendous interest from social media influencers, YouTubers, and publishers wanting to use viral content to create programming and connect with their audiences in a cost-effective way,” said Jonathan Skogmo, Founder and Co-CEO, Jukin Media. “Jukin has been a go-to resource for major advertisers and TV networks for years, and now we’re creating this offering so that individual creators, social pages, and digital publishers of all kinds can leverage the same amazing content at affordable price points.”
Self-service customers can choose between three tiers to license Jukin's videos for use in editorial content on social media, YouTube, and individual websites. For $49, Jukin provides a watermarked clip for use in non-monetized content on one channel. A $99 license includes a non-watermarked clip that can be used in monetized content on one channel. A $299 license allows usage on unlimited channels. All videos in Jukin’s library have been properly licensed from their original creators, who receive royalties when their videos are purchased. To date, Jukin has paid more than $25 million in royalty payments to creators.

Since unveiling the platform in beta, Jukin has seen steady growth and has licensed over 3,000 videos to more than 1,200 customers in 100 countries, with average order size growing more than 50 percent from launch through to today. Early users have spanned social-first publishers, digital publishers, influencers, small businesses, brands and creative agencies, and nonprofits.
