Earlier this year, BrandStorytelling 2025 officially embraced the Creator Economy and the Creators that fuel it as an integral part of an effective, engaging brand narrative-led content strategy.

We took a big step and launched our inaugural Creator Day. It was chock full of industry insights and key takeaways from some of the biggest Creator brands and voices across the landscape. From Sean Evans, to Rhett and Link, to Colin & Samir to Meta and YouTube, we reinforced just how and why Creators are driving both culture and entertainment -  and how smart brands can harness their potential (along with some likes, clicks and shares along the way).

Next year for 2026? We’re doubling down.

As BrandStorytelling heads into its next decade, we’re evolving right alongside the industry that made us by fully embracing the power of the Creator. For our Last Hurrah in Park City, we’re excited to announce the newest award submission category in BrandStorytelling’s 11 year history - Creator Led Content and our newest award, the BrandStorytelling Creator Award. For the first year ever, this new category and dedicated award will recognize the brands, and the Creators that have collaborated closely with brand partners.

Eligible submissions to the Creator-Led Content Award category are any Creator-led video, feature film, short film, television, content series OR podcast. Creator-led projects are those where the featured talent is a Creator and/or the project concept and development is the result of a partnership between a brand and an independent Creator or Creator-led company.

If your Creator-led project is a feature or short film, television or content series, or podcast, you can still submit it for consideration in any of those aforementioned categories.

Should your work exist outside of those category’s parameters (i.e. a brand story-driven brand-funded video that is not a film, short or series), you can submit it to the Creator-Led Content category - it’s a win-win!

While global platforms like YouTube mount their “For Your Consideration” campaigns around prominent Creator-led shows like Hot Ones, Good Mythical Morning, and other major global & U.S. awards shows like the Streamy’s, Shorty’s and Webby’s all give Creator-led content their time to shine, BrandStorytelling Awards is the ONLY awards program that will recognize the successful collaborations between brands and Creators. The Creator-driven Official Selection and winner of the Creator Award will be presented on Creator Day, Saturday, January 24, 2026, alongside other top talent and brands discussing brand entertainment with a creator-led focus.

Submissions are open now through Sept. 30th.
