BrandStorytelling today announced its Official Selections - projects to be recognized for their excellence in the brand-funded entertainment space - for BrandStorytelling 2026 in Park City, Utah, January 21st-24th, 2026.
BrandStorytelling conducted an open call for brand-funded film, series, podcast, and creator-led submissions to be acknowledged at BrandStorytelling 2026, a sanctioned event of Sundance Film Festival. The selection committee, composed of 15 brands, agencies, directors, and thought leaders, reviewed submissions ranging from full-length feature films and documentaries to short films, episodic programs, and content featuring creators. After careful review, the selection committee extended an invitation to 6 brands and their storytelling partners to share their projects on stage at BrandStorytelling 2026.

As audience attention becomes increasingly fragmented and streaming consumption accelerates, brands are redefining the entertainment ecosystem and rethinking how they engage their audiences. BrandStorytelling is showcasing how brands’ ambitious and creative narrative ventures aren’t simply adapting to audience behavior - they’re advancing year-on-year as brand-owned entertainment becomes a more potent vehicle for values, empathy and purpose.
“This year’s submissions made it extremely difficult to choose only a select few project to feature at BrandStorytelling 2026,” said Jordan Kelley, Content Director at BrandStorytelling. “After tracking this space and submissions for the last five years, it’s clear to me that brand-funded entertainment is at a tipping point – one that starts now with a shared understanding of what quality programming looks like, and continues into the future with the proliferation of this kind of work across all platforms.”

Projects named Official Selections for BrandStorytelling 2026 include:
The Theory of Spice, Yogi Tea
A Una Isla de Ti, Canary Island Tourism
Lenovo x Intel Present: #CreatorOdyssey, Lenovo + Intel
The Philipstown Wirecar Grand Prix, Philipstown Wirecar Foundation + Accenture
Dream Boats, Free Fly Apparel
Faces of Music, Sephora
BrandStorytelling 2026 will bring together industry thought leaders across various business sectors, including award-winning directors, agencies, content creators and streaming platforms.
