The story of the preservation of North American wild horses will be explained, as will the partnership of the Blundstone Boot brand to the upcoming feature documentary, WILD BEAUTY: Mustang Spirit of the West

Ashley Avis is an American director, screenwriter, and producer of four feature films and over 100 commercials and branded content spots to date. She recently wrote, directed, and edited the modern day adaptation of Anna Sewell's classic BLACK BEAUTY starring Kate Winslet, Mackenzie Foy, and Iain Glen, which debuted on Disney+ in November 2020. In 2016, Ashley had her feature film debut with DESERTED, an artistic psychological survival story she wrote as well as produced. Her second feature, the coming of age story ADOLESCENCE was released in 2019 and stars India Eisley, Tommy Flanagan, Elisabeth Rohm and Jere Burns.


Commercially Ashley is known for her long form narrative work, directing for clients such as Coca Cola, Red Bull, Footlocker, Mercedes-Benz, Chevrolet, Pfizer, The Cali Group, and many more. In 2016, she won the Mercedes-Benz Award for her auto-fashion fusion spot "BESPOKE" in Cape Town. Recently, she directed as well as edited the 14-part "GOALKEEPERS 2019" campaign for Chevrolet featuring noted Olympians such as Mia Hamm, Laurie Hernandez, and Hilary Knight encouraging young women to stay in sports. An editor of over a decade, she cuts the vast majority of her commercial work.


Ashley is available for brand content projects through BODEGA Studios NY / LA / SF and works out of their WBENC, women-led office in Los Angeles.
